I always wanted a mountain bike with suspension. I have an old old racing bicycle my neighbor was going to throw out. The rear brake line is rusted in place which sucks but I don't race anyway, simply a means of transportation until I got a car. The only cool thing about it is that it's made of aluminum so you can literally lift the whole thing off the ground with your pinky finger. Makes it a breeze to move it around in the garage or when crossing a busy street with it on your shoulder.

It's purple, has no suspension, 21 gears, of which 18 work, a bent packet holder, front and rear hand brakes, and a broken bell.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It's a really effective pedalling platform. It's amazing for a bike with 160mm of rear wheel travel.

Ah, it's just the way you wrote it.   It seemed to me as if it was an upgrade.

Re-reading I see what you mean. The gear cables, end caps and whole new rear wheel were upgrades.

I just didn't think the seatpost warranted a whole line in the description

A few hundred grams?!?

I reckon 50g saving over aluminium. Something like that.

Sorry yeah, ~200grams is the weight of the post not the saving.

Mine has upgraded, wider handlebars and (potence)--Idk what it is in English. that little thing that connects the handles to the front fork.
Also has Suntour shocks instead of the rockshox ones, and I've changed the seat setup a bit, as I use it mostly on pothole-laden streets with the occasional mountain ride.
