The Ultimate BF2 Patch - What would you want?

If EA were smart, they could make more money out of BF2 by making a patch that does the following.

Combines all expansion packs into vanilla, so all AF, Euro Forces and Special forces are all running together. It would be a refreshing change being able to play Karkand with ziplines and grappling hooks.

Make the graphics look like they did pre-release, if anyone remembers it actually looked better in the previews. See here if you never saw it -

Put back in all the things they promised, like laser painting targets, more weapons.

And most importantly, fix the rego so aiming is more rewarding for the more skilled players.

Better hit reg. I think BF 2142 has some nice hit reg, even with an 80kb wired connection (hotel high-speed Internet access, please).

Allow 59hz users to play the game. Why it's not capable of running the game at one value lower is odd. BF 1942 and the new BF Heroes is not plagued with this problem, sadly 2142 has this prob too.

Allow certain sound cards to work with the game. I've had no luck with getting a Conexant sound card on another laptop to work with the game. Have to disable the card to play. Same thing with 2142. Interestingly enough, some other people with the same laptop got BF2 and 2142 to work with the sound card. Maybe they had an external one or upgraded (is that even possible? ).

Remove some of the bothersome CTD problems, like when picking up a support kit after the original owner disconnects, or on map change. I honestly think EA/Dice is fixing this one for 1.5.
