I'm getting a new cell, any recommendations? Only requirements: Must have a camera 2.0 mega pixels or greater, must have removable memory. Price is no object.

Also, I have Verizon, so it must be something they offer (I don't think unlocked phones work with their network anyway, but it has been awhile since I've looked into it)

Well, for a pretty basic set that has a great display and pretty good 2.0MP camera, I can't do anything but recommend the Nokia 6300. Another plus is that it's virtually indestructible.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

The new Blackberry looks sexy, I would move to Verizon just for it.

But I don't know if it has removable mem.

Edit: Yes is has expandable memory.

I'd say the Blackberry Storm, but apparentely it doesn't have removable memory.

If you could manage without the removable memory, I'd definitely go for the Storm.

I'd definitely get one if I didn't have an iPhone.

Edit: Oh wait, it does!

All the better.

Go for it.

I'm pretty sure Verizon doesn't offer any Sony phones.

Yeah, I just bought one not long ago, and it's awesome. Plus the metal finish feels awesome, unlike the cheap plastic of a lot of phones.

To be honest, I like tech but hate cell phones. People have become so attached to them that you could be having a conversation with someone and in mid-sentence, they'll start talking with someone else over Bluetooth. About a minute later, if, in the process of trying to decode your conversation, you haven't figured out that they aren't talking to you anymore, you'll get irritably hushed as their finger goes to their cyborg implant.

What I find even more disgusting is the irrevocable march of the cell phone. They are now a must for business dealings, and laws are dropping into place that enforce spaceman earpieces for drivers (what, ladies applying makeup and fat bozos stuffing cheeseburgers down their throat aren't distracting themselves?).

And people accuse the internet of stagnating traditional social life.

I would NOT get the Blackberry Storm. Read Engadget's review of it and you'll see why.

Shame that you can't get an Android phone, though. The Blackberry Bold might be more of what you're looking for, though, instead of the Storm.

Yea, I don't really need all the features of a Blackberry anyway, and Verizon requires you to get their web service as part of your plan when you purchase a smart phone. Right now I'm leaning towards the LG eny2 or the LG Dare (I think its the same as the LG Secret for peeps across the pond).

As I said earlier, I have Verizon which uses a network that doesn't allow for the use of unlocked phones (from what I understand) so most of the phones you guys have posted I can't use

Here is a list of phones that I could get.

(If it asks for an area code, use 43212)

Damn Omni, Sony-Ericsson have really good phones. Switch from Verizon to some other carrier.
