Oh dear Lord...I'm sure there are MANY more skeletons in the financial closets of Obama, Biden and McCain. $21,000 questionable expenses...those jackasses in congress have done that kind of shit in a single night.

btw, she's spent about 75% less on travel compared to the previous governor . Maybe she should have hired teams of nannies to watch her kids while away and charged them to the state.

There are two laws in play on that one - a law pertaining to her powers as governor, and a law pertaining to ethical practices. You can use powers granted under one law and still be in violation of the other.

Imagine you want to make a right turn at a 4-way intersection and the light is red. Parallel to your position is a little old lady trying to cross the street.

Law 1 - You have the right/ability/power to make a right turn when the red light is showing after you come to a complete stop.

Law 2 - Killing someone by hitting them with your car is manslaughter.

You make a right turn after your legal complete stop, which is fine, but then you happen to run over a little old lady in her walker, which is not fine. You can't argue in court that you followed one law so should be exempt from following the other.

You can't pick and choose which law applies in any given situation.
