So there is this girl in my Ottoman Empire class that is really cool and I think it pretty. She is a Muslim and I don't have anything against Muslims or people from the middle east. My first partner was Arabic so I'm xenophobic or anything. But my first was an Atheist who was more of an adult than I was. This girl on the other hand is an actual real life Muslim.
I like her as a person but I can't go out with her like this. Disregard the clothing in the last photo and trust me when I say she dresses normal otherwise but stills wears the hijab. If she had her hair out I would be totally okay with going out with her. But it is bad enough EVERY SINGLE PERSON I meet thinks I am a Arab Muslim. If I'm walking around with her like that then I might as well start investing in airport X-ray scanners. God knows I'll be using them.
