In answer to your question, because you misunderstood what she wanted. It's only ever happened to me once that I can remember, so I don't think girls mess guys around intentionally for the most part.

Yeah I guess, but I feel like you can tell the difference usually between flirting that isn't going to go anywhere and the real thing. But I know what you mean about girls who have boyfriends.

Ghetto - Unfortunately that "being able to tell the difference" doesn't apply to a large percentage of the population.

Even girls without boyfriends play it. There were two friends that were just going about the bar, showing everything off, glancing at guys and laughing... but they had no interest in it whatsoever, they just wanted to see how many idiots they could get "under their spell" so to speak. People do it when they're drunk, but girls usually do it sober to piss guys off.

That's not how I said I do it. There are thousands of girls who do the exact same to us, and I never do it to girls that I can't tell are pretty sure of themselves and I know have boyfriends or aren't interested. If I had a girlfriend that wanted to dress up all slutty and go to the bars with only her girlfriends I'd tell her no, cause all I ever see girls doing in clubs is lead guys on with no intention of actually engaging with them.
