If you ever receive a pop saying "we have detected a viruses, download antivirus 2009"(something like that) don't fall for it, It happens to be a trojan scam. Thought I'd let you all know that

My bro in law got this thing(yeah hes not to bright) I tried that amongst other adware/spyware/scanners and I couldn't get this thing to die, ended up just reformating his machine, saved me hours of hassle.

If you call "reformating his machine and then reinstalling everything all over again" saving hassle then yeah, you saved shloads.

Had to reinstall drivers, no biggie, he uses it msotly for web surfing and photos, all important files backed up as well as most of his programs on his other partition, 30 minutes to reinstall, 10 for the drivers, and done
