On topic, I just take the dog out on a stroll, walk a little everywhere in the area. Maybe listen to some calm music. I usually do it late in the evening, when the streets are empty and it's pitch black and cool. Love the feeling.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity.
