Basically, it will not happen for BF2. No point in even trying.

bullshit it will. Maybe years ago when bf2 was really intensive and had leet graphics. Now, if a 7600gt can run bf2 max settings, imagine what an 8800gt can do. And that's just a standard card by today's settings.

I know what you mean by that but, get real, Companies will invest time&money in projects that delivers them $$$.

If DICE had the last word on the bf2 project the release date would be this When Its Done

*Note; everyone who say's DICE is a screwup with bf2 etc are just like those "n00b: Fucking cheatersgame arslochsheisse nerd game" n00bplayers you see ingame. EA is the one who wants the project done ASAP, so faster releases=less quality.

Every map wouldn't have to be 128 (114) it could be at least an option for mods to enable if they have bigger maps and want to have more players, like Project Reality.

Yep, everything that was cut from the game, including 128 player maps (and howevercrafts, M82s and SPMAs) was cut for a reason, whether it be technical or balancing.

Having 20+ idiots out of a 32-man team also gets very frustrating...
