In trying to run a server search, I'm using the following filters

Populated
Punkbuster
Same version
Ranked
Same version

Now I'm getting, if I'm lucky, 16 servers listed, what's happened?

I'm running version 1.5, and as far as I can tell there is no new patch.

There was already a post like this in the BF2 section,

Currently any game running GameSpy(the BF series) is undergoing problems of not seeing servers, all GameSpy games seems to be affected.


I've no clue when it's gonna be fixed.

I'm running BF2142 1.50, BF2 Version 1.41, both games are rather low on servers at the moment, and most Euro Forces servers are 'time serve' ones to get "X" amount of time in a helicopter with no fighting allowed.

ah. missed the "2142" part.... too many like it with bf2.....


Apparently it's the GameSpy master server list, however, i thought you could still directly connect (to a server) if you had the IP.

Well I only recently reinstalled both games, and the servers that were on my favourites list are mostly dead.

Yeah, you can, or if it's in your Favs, but that doesn't help the server list problem.
