That's pretty cool, I haven't been watching so much racing lately so I forgot he died.
The WRC just isnt the same for me now that he has passed, dont watch it as much as i used to.
Great send off though, there was also a convoy of subaru's from his home town to the garage where they used to build subaru's i think.

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.
Right you are. The week subsequent to his death, website was put up where you could give a personal message to his family. Some of them were the most touching ones I've seen..Sup wrote:

RIP CMcR...we'll miss you.
I like pie.
Doesn't Joda from Star Wars say "Right you are"?TSI wrote:

While I hate to bring it into a thread that should be commemorating a great man, I am guessing you didn't watch it too much anyways?hawaythelads wrote:

He hadn't been in the WRC for a few years at the time of his death....
At any rate...
Lessons from the master. Awesome to hear him talk about what he does (did )
Hand brake and scandanavian flick
Jumps
Stage starts, and finding grip
On board view of his greatness.
Half a year later?
Yeah, I was wondering if this was the one year already, but it happened after I moved, and I haven't been living here a year....Sir Schmoopy wrote:

Oh well, he is Collin, he is a fucking badass, we should do this monthly
I find it a little hard to feel any pity for McRae after reading that his helicopter pilot license had expired a year before the crash. What was he even doing flying the thing, let alone with two young children and another adult on board?
"My best moment? I have a lot of good moments but the one I prefer is when I kicked the hooligan." - Eric Cantona.
It expired? Hmm. He shouldnt have flew a jet anyway. Just like Schumacher, he fell on a bike. But he is a god in cars.KingCheese wrote:

Yup. Apparently you have to take competency tests every so often to maintain your pilots license, which he had stopped doing. I also remeber reading that necessary safety checks had not been carried out on his aircraft. I thought he was a fantastic driver, but that for me is unforgivable.Ayumiz wrote:
