Hmm... I rather like this browser.  It has a lot of features i've never seen before in a web browser.  While at first it does look like a copy of Mozilla browser.  It has a lot of hidden goodies.

- You can expand text fields graphicly while in the browser.
- Text Fields are highlighted.
- It creates a web page based upon recently viewed web pages in the forum of box view.
- It has trouble scrolling up and down when images are involved.
- Has trouble display colors on my web site. >
- Works with all flash stuff from what I can tell.
- Its VERY fast when loading webpages and download.  I think its very well optimized to do so.
- FTP sucks...  but I guess all web browser FTPs suck. lol

I'll add more as I play with it.

I've been using Chrome more and more often now. While there are features that I find very hard to not have (adblock etc) there are a few features in Chrome that I am *really* starting to like. I've configured a few settings to make it like it would be if it was my default browser and I am really starting to like it.

My only complaint really is the way the bookmarks/favorites are handled.  Also, I think Chrome is cause me to lose internet connection randomly.(I THINK)  Besides that its really good.  I wish they would change the size of the font though on the default setting.

Try Chrome and stick with FF.
Try Chrome and switch!

Still needs RSS support, proper bookmark management and a couple of other small things, but then it's good
Can't wait for the API

I like it - feels much faster than firefox and it is very minimalistic, which is a very big plus.

Same here... As I have said before I am having so crazy issue with FF3 that crashes it 25% of the time I go to any webpage but a forum. FF2 doesn't do it, IE doesn't do it, Chrome doesn't do it... I am lazy so instead of fixing it when ever it happens I just load up chrome... Actually started going to chrome first now.

I am thinking of just going ahead and doing one of those tutorials I have seen on blocking ads with out relying on the browser (by proxy?)... If anyone has any good sites on doing that, or even just wants to write up some info them self it would be helpful... If not I suppose I will just go do some research (maybe tomorrow) and post up what I find...

Try privoxy if you want to block ads in Chrome. I'm not using it though - it works fine, but I'm actually liking seeing some of these ads (last.fm etc.) as they're useful to me...

I tried it again.

Still can't browse without gestures and middle click scrolling. And the overall site loading is slower than Opera's and FF's. Scripts it does amazingly fast.

I miss the Home button. And status bar in left bottom corner annoys me. And why does it underlane every single word? I know I'm not that bad at English.

If you had actually explored chrome, you would have seen there is an option to show the HOME BUTTON in settings.

For the time being, I will stick to Opera.

I cannot navigate webpages without Mouse Gestures, nor without being able to customise an interface I will spend a huge deal of time staring at.
This, and the fact it is 20x slower at loading pages than Opera.

However, it does have many positives- most of these based on the architecture it runs on- My browser will stay open for days, and and the end of it Opera is using 200mb of memory, with only a couple of tabs running- Chromes unique memory management fixes that, and also the things such as the beefed up Javascript engine, makes a huge deal of sense.

Other people have said the truth- Chrome has a great chance of making a top browser, since the cores of the other browsers were designed and developed with the "old" web in mind.

I would like to say chrome has been the one causing me to drop my connection.  For some reason it causes my router to go nuts.  Anyone else have this happen to them?

Holy crap, so that was why... I liked Opera a lot, but I was always concerned when I opened up Task Manager and saw the 200,000 next to it. Always thought that was my computer fucking up for some reason.

Yeah, the lack of mouse gestures is annoying, I keep doing the left click + move down + move right to try and close a tab, only to realise it's not working. But it's getting a bit easier to deal with. I can't really tell if it's slower than Opera, but overall, I'm liking it more than Opera now.

I like how Chrome imported my passwords too. That was convenient.
