sarcasm obviously (obviously not)
I'll leave you to that, I've done enough arguing with you to know that it's of no use.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Why start a fight then aynway? Even if I thought he underclocked it for a reason so what, why ask me to admit something you have no idea what I thought.Freezer7Pro wrote:

Update plz.
ohh, fancy. Be careful with VTT though. Even if your temps are low it can burn up a chip within a couple of hours

I only kept it at that voltage for a few minutes. It's at 1.32V now.
I'm not talking about Vcore
VTT / FSB termination voltages > 1.45 V are dangerous.

That's gay. If you're safe, you're bound to be sorry.max wrote:

I did more tweaking I got this speed stable but at 1.525 volts so I backed it down to 3.0Ghz at 1.45 volts.
I win this thread. Linux RAPES windows when it comes to multiple core performance
It's a shame that CPU-Z can't function in Linux

doesn't make your cpu any faster... wanna try some multi-threaded benc huh? me and max just put HT on and we can have 8 threads same time.

Doesn't make it faster, but it's more optimised for multiple cores tbh. For example, in FAH, I get 2000 something ppd in windows, while 3000 something ppd in Linux...
