God doesn't exist and the world is a cruel and horrible place, you know that and I know that...some people need a psychological crutch to cope with the idea and sometimes there's just no debating the issue with with people because they will always fall back on the argument that the burden of proof lies on you disproving God rather than them proving God...which is quite ludicrous really, could you imagine if the science or medicine worlds worked under similar rules?

Wtf is your problem marine if some people (most of the world) think God exists. Let them. It may sound stupid to an atheist, but 80% of the people think otherwise.
