How often do you get early unit ends with the SMP client max? I got up to 45% on my first work unit and now I have to start all over

If it becomes a regular occurrence I think I'll just give up on the CPU folding altogether.

I've had it happen once without any fault. Once my OC was too high and once I didn't quit the app properly and one client crashed the other. That is out of a total of maybe 15 WUs. Seems to be running smooth now

EDIT: it's just bad luck. My first WU crashed too

I am back in action. Doubt I will keep this computer on 24/7 but most of the day anyways. And I will disable GPU folding while gaming because it lags my performance too much. Should hit between 1000 and 2000 about every day for now.

Just got my second early unit end at 59%. So far I'm 2 for 2 with EUEs. It says something about CPU stability, but temperatures are always below 60 degrees and I've only overclocked the FSB 17Mhz... that couldn't be causing it could it?

Full specs? Depending on your mobo and CPU it is very possible that it can't take it. Did you drop the ram divider?

AMD X2 5200+
MSI K9N Platinum nForce 570
3GB (2 x 512MB, 2 x 1GB) of 800Mhz RAM
700W OCZ PSU

The RAM was underclocked to begin with because my CPU has an odd multiplier (13x). So I just upped the FSB from 200Mhz to 217Mhz and that brought the RAM up to 800Mhz. I've never had any stability problems in any other program, but then again I've never stressed the CPU for as long as F@H is doing right now. Like I said, I've never seen the processor go over 60 degrees.

That shouldn't cause any issues. You can still test stability with prime 95 or trying to put the PC back to defaults. Resetting the PC won't really give you any performance difference

I'm still on CPU. I'm folding while playing and I'm worried I will lag if the GPU is in use while playing.

you can just shut the GPU client down if you're gaming. Thats what I do

I'm too lazy and would probably forget to shut it down. While folding with CPU I don't even notice its doing anything.
