Well I might try folding on my usual machine after I get that working again, and I'll leave that on if I can actually get it to stfu and go to the background when I want to use my resources elsewhere. However I did just set up my server to fold (3400+), and I'm pretty sure it's working. I suppose we'll find out in a little bit.

This is semi-F@H-related so I'll just post in it here...

When fah (SMP client) is running and both cores are stressed to 100%, RealTemp says the core temps are 34 and 35C and SpeedFan reads 39 and 40C. These are about the sames temps as when the CPU is idle. Unless this Arctic Cooling Ceramique stuff I have is the best shit on the market, that can't be right. Or does F@H not really stress the CPU so much?

Specs:
E8400 @ 3.00Ghz
Asus P5Q Pro
Freezer7Pro w/ Ceramique

Edit: I disabled a couple things (only two options I think) in my BIOS to get the CPU to run at 3.00Ghz 24/7 instead of constantly changing the multi. Could that cause the temperature sensors to go wacky?

Fah doesn't make your CPU as hot as possible. Run Orthos or Intel Burn Test for real load temps.

I can't get the SMP client installed on my XP machine. I followed the guide but when I do the "fah -configonly" step and it asks me for the size of the work unit (small/normal/big), fah crashes every time. A dialogue box pops up saying "fah6 has stopped working" and it never lets me finish the config.

Yes, I'm sure it's the 32-bit client.

Specs:
Windows XP 32-bit
AMD 5200+
1.5 GB RAM
MSI K9N Platinum mobo
nvidia 7950GT
