Besides the characters were racist, not the movie.
Last movie I saw was Valkyrie, I can only give it like 7.5 out of 10 at most. Not a bad movie at all, but like the last two new movies I saw (Max Pain and Quantum of Solace) It ended, I said OK then left. Nothing at all that really grabbed me or made it anything better then just another movie TBH.

Zatoichi (2003) - 9/10
Needed to stay more in line with the original 26 movies, but this one was still a great adaptation. More of a tribute film, and when you consider that then it was great.
Brilliant story, good acting and the sword fights were awesome.

I thought The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was fucking astounding, beautiful and masterful.
I'm not going to quantify my 'impression' of it yet though, I'm going to watch it a few more times- try and root into some deeper meanings/interpretations and see what little details stand out as often do on repeat re-watchings. Definitely going to be an award-sweeper in 2009 though, a film like that is too big to be overlooked.

Curious Case Of Benjamin Button - 9/10 (Nearly a perfect movie is all aspects)
7 Pounds - 6/10 (Okay drama...way over-hyped for me. They first hide too much from the audience, then the payoff was SO not worth it after the twist was revealed)
Gran Torino - 8/10 (Great film...Eastwood's character could've used more depth. I would love to see an alternate ending for fan service, but the
ending is suitable)
Death Race - 7/10 (I don't warrant B-Movies any higher rating. However, in terms of B-Movies, it was a kick ass ride.)
Wanted - 6/10 (Okay action flick, had no depth at all...seemed far too much like a Fight Club copy without all the good parts. Angelina Jolie is way too skinny and is NOT sexy)
Mr. Ms. Smith - 9/10 (Dug it out of the ol' DVD collection and fully enjoyed this movie. Jolie was hot in this, unlike Wanted, that alone warrants a watch. It was a perfect mix of comedy/action.)
Incredible Hulk - 8/10 (Standard Marvel film...what can you say?)
Quantum of Solace - 8/10 (Fast paced action from start to finish, who gives a shit about story!?)
