Came from a 8800GTS 320MB

To

Nvidia GTX260 896MB

Can max out Company of heroes with full dx10 and Q16XAA 1680 resolution and ultra detail

Right Cryisis...

1680 resolution, dx10, wait for it....can easily easily play ALL high and i was even playing it ALL on Very High even though it was slowing quite down i was still able to play (20fps) , dont believe me? i will take some pictures late if you like.

Cant do 3d mark 06 because of a missing Dll or something..

All in all im very very happy with this card, £250 well spent

Supporting this card i have:
4GB 800MHZ Ram
Q6600
780i Tri- Sli mobo.

3DMark Vantage score: 8058

2x4870s+a nice P5E board is cheaper than 2x260GTX. So you can go crossfire instead of SLI.

Meh, I'm not sure what is more demanding at the moment. Of CoD4, Orangebox, and CoH, CoH is the most demanding and I can max it.

I think we'll have to wait for the next gen games to see any real difference in these next two generations of video cards.

I paid nearly £200 for my 780i mobo, im not letting this thing go just yet!

You could sell it for that price. Its amazing how many people on fleabay dont check the list prices of hardware (as new), if you say something like this is the best DDR2 supporting SLI motheboard on the market, and say you want £199 for it, I think you will get it (or close). Saw an 8800GTS sell for £150 only a few weeks back, and it was mainly down to the ignorance of ebayerzzzzzzzzzz. Cash in dude!

I kind of agree. No offence elite but I had a feeling in that thread you made asking about the 260 v 4870 that regardless what we said you would take the nvidia option

Still, it's not as if the 260 is a BAD card, if hes enjoying his purchase then thats great.
