My friend who has completely ditched BF2 for CoD4 has even promised me to try the new patch out.
I'll start playing pubs again if the patch makes them suck less. Or if any new maps are any good in IO

I actually just started playing again like two weeks ago after a year long hiatus from the game, I don't remember why I stopped and I wish I never did, spent mindless hours playing lesser games.

I still play it. Dont no what all the fuss about patches is for. its a good game

To be honest I don't think it will revive the game. If anything it will be like BF2142 and just be popular for a little while then fade away again. It may last a little longer than 2142 though. But, i'm always for improving things so i'll give a try and if their is a beta i'll participate.
