I have Gmail myself. Absolutely love it. Have my email from my local ISP piped into it so I can get all my stuff easier. The lack of folders is a bit strange sometimes, but the amount of storage space is the tits.

What does an email client do compared to just the web-based email thing? Like I have a @yahoo.com account and the online email thing works fine.

I like gmail the best, but my personal email address is through hotmail because its older then gmail is...
gmail account for internets stuff, and an account from my schools web based email that automatically forwards to my personal address.
