Yep, the Euro is almost here. Some of us are really excited, sorry Brits. So who do you guys think will get to the quarter finals. Who will win and who will bomb?

Group A: Portugal & Czech Republic.
Group B: Poland & Germany.
Group C: France & Italy.
Group D: Spain & Sweden.

Portugal - Poland > Portugal

Ialy - Sweden > Italy

Dude, Im half Portuguese and I dont like him either. Yes he's a great player, but way too cocky. Thats what happens with too much money for someone so young. He's actually from Madeira, an autonomous island off the East coast of Africa. The joke in Portugal is that we dont particularily like people from Madeira and consider them uneducated and not fully Portuguese.

Ha ha so true. Im really not sure why we pick on people from Madeira! Youre right, its stupid. Even though we all know that Ronaldo is a great player I think we (Portugal) rely too much on him. We did really badly in qualifying and a lot of that came down to not having a reliable striker and expecting too much Ronaldo. But I think we have learnt our leason and Scolari is already mixing things up.

Ive pulled Portugal and Russia in our works sweep stake. Its not your normal format and I can't be arsed to explain but the basics are you get 5 points a goal, and 2 or 3 points a win. 10 Bonus points I think if your country has the tournaments top scorer in. This means that if you pull a shit country out the hat in work you still have a chance of winning and your team can get knocked out of the qtr's (eg) and you can still win the whole thing.
