I have a personal vendetta against Benq. The last six months, I've fixed 8 faulty PSUs in their screens. All but two had the same fucking fault, a bad solder joint making a part fall off and two others break. What the fuck.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Not really bought, but I found a pair of earbud earphones in the house (old sony MDR-EX51LPs) and put them in the iPhone.

It's amazing how much better than the stock they are.  Need a little bass EQ though.

I bought a new battery for my PSP slim. Modded the original one last summer, then for some reason the other day my PSP stopped detecting games so I had to reformat memory stick, which in turn led to the PSP not booting because of the battery mod

CFW still works though!

Replacement Corsair TX850W coming in few days. The other one was clearly faulty and RMA'd it.

I'll give Corsair another chance. If the PSU lives upto its promises this time, I will keep it. (not annoy the crap out of me with fugly fan noise)

How is the bass? I've got the SE110's and they're a bit light in the low frequency range.

An ass big 250W 12-50V power supply. Computer PSU there for size reference.

Why so big, you may ask. Well, this ain't just any power supply. This is an indestructible power supply. You can short circuit the output, and it'll remain stable. It's also linear, so it's IMPOSSIBLE for it to produce less heat than power output. 250W out equals >250W heat for the heatsinks to get rid of.

And the lights are light bulbs. Fuck yeah.

And what will I use it for?

Breaking stuff!

AFAIK there nothing new and exciting coming out. I can only recommend the regular Asus P6T. Relatively cheap, great connectivity/expansion slots and a good OCer.

Hmm fair enough, OCUK seem to be out of that 2000mhz OCZ memory, wait for that to come back in stock, that's a hell of a price too.

It's really good. A natural sound. If they seem to be lacking in bass you need to make sure you have buds that fit your ear best.

I tried some Sennheiser CX500's and the bass was so loud, that's what some people want, but it's not how the music was meant to sound.

1600MHz mem will be enough. No need for 2000Mhz

You need to use crazy QPI voltage to get even near 2000MHz for ram.

Seems to be cheaper than 1600mhz stuff though.

Corsair Dominator 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 (1600MHz) = £149.99

OCZ Reaper 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-15000 (1866MHz) =£99.99

OCZ Gold 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 2000MHz PC3-16000C10 = £126.49

Forgot to post this (got it for my mom for Mother's day): Basically a knock-off of the Logitech VX Nano mouse. It was $50 rather than $70 for the VX and from what I can tell just as good
