A 5W 12V fluorescent light. I needed something a bit less intense than the 20W in my ceiling. (20W is about equal to a 120W light bulb)
It has a bit of a moon-ish light, it's really nice on the eyes.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. For my laptop when I'm out and about, a cheaper portable pair to carry around to friend's houses and LAN's and whatnot. Plus, they're sexy and go nicely with the white sexiness of my Vaio .
Edit: It's a SteelSeries Siberia Headset (non-USB, I like my jacks), for anyone that doesn't recognize and witness the fitness.
