<3 Max selling me his Q9300.
I hope you understand what you're paying for.
Um, jah? One of the best CPUs to fit my socket, for a price much less than what I'd pay for a new one? It has almost the same performance as an i5..

Q9300
i5
Yeah. It's just that max often include some 'other' surprises in his deals with BF2S members.

One can only speculate what is filling up the extra space in that envelope.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Edit:  I only picked up one set last night.  Wife put a stop on the second set, since I already got the 47LH55 last weekend.  I'll put up pictures after I have them mounted this weekend.  Now trying to decide what console stand to get...

We want pictures and such
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

A buddy of mine has agreed to buy my old build for US$910 if he can scrape together the money

I'm thinking of getting:

i7 930
ZALMAN CNPS 10X Flex CPU cooler [maybe two fans for it aswell in case airflow through the case is enadequate...
ASUS Rampage II GENE Republic of Gamers
Corsair XMS3 3 x 2 GB 10666 (1333Mhz)
ASUS ATi HD5850 DirectCU (Non-stock cooler & OC)
Antec Performance One Mini P180 (Mini ATX case which will fit the GENE well
https://img64.imageshack.us/img64/6949/mp18001.jpg

Keeping my old modular 620W Corsair PSU & HDDs
And considering getting this too:
Samsung SH-B083L - Blue Ray Burner
Maybe two 500GB Samsung F3s to run Raid1 with windows, programs & personal docs.

Price for new stuff: ~ $1600
Old PC sells for: $910
Price for upgrade = $690

Worth it?

Just making sure

Yeh if my mate finds those 910 bucks I'm doing it... Even though my current "rig" is only 1 year old, I think going from 3.3 Ghz Core 2 Duo to 2.8 Ghz Quad i7 will make quite a difference

And I love putting together my own computer Allways feels nice when you are done and you know every part is what you want and every wire is where you want it!

I got myself two broken 19" monitors the other day (One missing the power supply and having water in the polarization layer, the other having a cracked panel). I just finished putting them together into one working one

I really love the 1280x1024px 19-inchers. The pixels are huge, so it's really easy to browse or type on them for hours without feeling eye strain.

So now I have three identical monitors on the workbench!
