I hope you get paid for working at home...fuck that as far as I'm concerned.  I put in waaaay too much time at the office as it is.  They tried to give me access from home and I said, "No thanks."
Of course.

I currently get paid hourly by them as a contractor. But they've just offered me a permanent position, so that's going to change soon (but hey, paid holidays and sick days will be nice - so will all the employee benefits).

It's not really for out of hours stuff either. We have set times that we are open, outside that and all support requests get diverted to the US.

I only spend 35 hours a week in the office, it's not too bad.

Got shipping confirmation for my 2 orders of BFBC2 PC regular edition from Barnes & Noble at $20 each.  Now, let's see if Gamestop follows through with shipment.  Plus BFBC2 360 version for $30 from EA.com using Sims cards is still a go.

And yeah, I make loads, but I have to be a cheap ass bastard because I often have to get multiples because of my boys.

Likely a price mistake.  And here in SoCal, they usually have to honor it.  Sold out now though...

Got a pair of JBL LX-60s today! For 50€, I couldn't resist, as they retailed about $1800 in 1990. The foam surrounds on the woofers are shot, but it's a cheap and quick fix for the handy

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Yeah that is pretty cool, I have a few devices that charge from USB and that could be pretty handy

I placed my order for my new gaming rig

EVGA SLI FTW 1156 motherboard
I5 750
2x2 gig G Skill ripjaw ddr3 1600
ASUS 5870

should be a nice little jump from a q6600 and an 8800gt.

The problems arise when the ultra-cheap voltage regulator breaks.

iTouch Review:  Ok, yeah, slim and the screen is huge.  Apps are great.  But battery life totally sucks...

Also picked up a Gigabyte GA-MA790XTA-UD4 last Friday to pair with my 965BE.  SATA3 and USB3.  Should be sufficient future-proofing.

Likely one of the many, many millions of keyboards on which shift+7 yields a forward slash.
