2TB WD drive.

For storin' all mah movies.

Edit: Also, I didn't buy it, but I got a free PC off my cousin.

P4 2.6
1GB DDR1 (4 x 256)
Asus P4P800
DVD drive
Some video card that looks like a 9200, or equivalent.

Not bad for a free PC.

A Salora 2001 and accompanying speakers from 1975.

The speakers have 10" subs on the top, and the way they beat vertically rather than horizontally, they can literally shake the floors. 50W a piece, the stereo is 2x30W, and the system has got a completely unique sound. I was amazed about the <40Hz response. I've never felt music in quite the same way.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Pretty big cans compared to 555s. Circumaural, closed-back studio headphones. They reveal everything, should be pretty good in FPS games as well.

Yeah, it's able to stay plugged in while she commutes between work/home so it's nice.

Picked up 2 120mm Antec Fans today-can't believe how quiet they are compared to the Ultra ones I was using.
