Anyway - I'd recommend the usual Black Hawk Down / Jarhead / Full Metal Jacket scheme. Lord of War and Gone in 60 seconds are also quite good.
I wished I knew how to aquire movies...

Gah, missed that since the spellchecker didn't bring it up. *phails*kylef wrote:

But you are English. Why would you need spell checker? I can't imagine writing a Slovenian word wrong.ghettoperson wrote:

I need a spell checker because I don't want to have to read through everything I've written to check I've spelt it correctly. And you can't imagine writing anything incorrectly in Slovenian? I'm pretty sure you must be the only Slovenian ever not to have made a typo then.
Ok if its a typo then okay. I thought you didn't know how to spell some words correctly. My bad.ghettoperson wrote:

Who cares...stay on topic. Post here if you're a grammar nazis.ghettoperson wrote:

Oh SHIT. I forgot 2 VERY important movies.
Gone Baby Gone
In The Valley of Elah
'A Bridge Too Far'
You can watch it over and over again and the cast is just one of the best collections of actors ever.
I'd like to add 'Lilya 4 Ever' to the drama list as one of the most depressing movies ever and 'Barefoot in the Park' to the list of comedies. That one actually features Robert Redford in his younger years and if you're into golden oldie humour, it's hilarious. If you decide to watch both movies, watch them in the above order and definitely NOT the other way around.
If you want something totally different, check the 'Gunslinger Girl' original miniseries. It's anime,.. but not (I don't watch anime, I do watch this).
Watch Elizabeth Gaskell's North and South BBC miniseries if you've got a girl coming around.

These are very good suggestions indeed, especially the first one. I wouldn't know about Munich though, I've never seen it, but I intend to.Zimmer wrote:

Oh god. I forgot that movie. Yes, if you don't want to watch the Korean movie, get this one. Seriously. It's just... amazing.
Ahhh,.. when will they stop using 'Requiem for a Dream' as a trailer soundtrack for every single movie out there? Make your own soundtracks even if it's just for a trailer godamnit!Zimmer wrote:

Actually, the music is by John Murphy (Miami Vice, 28 Days/Weeks Later). I don't know why they didn't use it in the trailer because the guy is a brilliant composer. So don't worry, the music in the movie isn't some refried-dramatic garbage, it's quite good.Lai wrote:
