replaced my old sound card with a new one sound blaster audigy-$ 25

79 right now but gona be 85 like yesterday. got my ac cranking feels like summer is close

got these ordered today...  new battery back up had to get this for 110$ my old one died after 6 yrs. i paid 150 for the old one (apc) model.   also replacing my 19 inch dell monitor with this 24 inch one. along with new vid card and power supply. figured good way to up grade my old pc for another yr or 2.       

turned on my pc and got that dreaded beeeeeeeeeep  of dead ram got 2 of these to go with the other 2 i have for my 7 yr old pc, next is gona be a power supply and vid card to keep it runnin for one more yr.

in honor of the 41st anniversary of the passing of jimi hendrix (died sept 18th 1970,   on my 7th birthday) i'll be spending the day smoking fatties and listening to hendrix.  as i do every year

ive had heat stroke a twice and it sucks ass but whats even worse is to over load on water/gatorade. you would rather have heat  stroke .

  heres the most important tip i can give anyone out in the heat... if you stop sweating STOP what your are doing and go cool down and drink something. if you stop sweating you are suffering from Heat Exhaustion.  if you ignore that and keep on working you will get heat stroke and could end up in the hospital or even die.

Heat Exhaustion will pass if you cool off in a hour maybe a little more, heat stroke takes days to recover from. after 20 yrs as a roofer in sw florida you learn a trick or 2 to fight the heat.   if your out in the heat and sweating like all hell and get a cold chill kinda wash over you get indoors or in the shade asap. its your body making a last stand against the heat and its pumping out every bit of water to cool you off, thats classic heat exhauston and you heading for major trouble.


i drink a lot of ice tea/water all day and only one bottle of gatorade.  also banannas eating them help i eat 2-3 a day to replace lost potassuim and
magnesium.   that helps stop heat cramps  also a little salt  one small salt pak like you get from mickey d's.  will help out alot.

until the next hurricane im in Punta Gorda, Florida,USA        (Punta Gorda in spanish is supposed to mean broad point)      thats what they taught in school here. i tell people it means fat whore in spanish

that looks like the wood spider we have here bastids get bigger than that.  also they travel in pairs. chances are you kill one the other will pop up when you least  expect it. like when your sleepin.  huntsman spider is their name.   if you see one and it looks like it has a bubble or sack under do not kill it catch it take it out side then kill it.   that sack is a egg sack and if you break it when you kill it you will have a million of  them runnin free in your house or all over you. seen that happen to a friend once.   with legs they can get from 5 to 11 inches.

i agree. even get your design done as a temp tattoo and if you still like it after that get it.  nothing worse than thinking its cool looking only to look at it 10-15 yrs later and think wtf wish i didint have that done.   cause regret is a bitch and costly to have removed. if it can be removed.  been there done that.

i get the city of cape coral callin me sayin i owe x amount of $$ for back water bills, if i dont make a payment today they will come out and shut off my water.     i tell them id like to see you come shut my water off!     seeing as i live in punta gorda some 45 miles away in a different county than cape coral and i have a well.     

i get this call every 3-4 months ive even explained to them you have the wrong person,and i dont live there either.   but they still call.   

96 °F  heat index  115 °F   @ 3:30 pm in the shade 

will be that way till umm maybe october

ive always liked these...

tea=iced strong and sweet.

coffee= lots of it & strong with lots of cream and sugar.


before work every day i hit dunkin doughnuts for a large coffee with double cream double sugar + turbo shot of expresso tossed in.
