The sad thing is, he probably learned that language, and possibly his disrespect, from some of the other people in his clan.

And WHEN, exactly, was WW2? Sometime around 1942, perhaps? And the characters in BF1942, set in 1942, speak like they live in 1942?!?!? That's just plain ridiculous!! I mean, get with the times, guys...[R]age^B-HeKtiC^ wrote:

I think that EA has completly gone over board with the english voices. English do NOT sound like that at all in real life. Why can't they understand that like in 1942 when they went "TALLY HO" No one talks like that ever!
that.

3. You could have been using it for 5000 hours and it wouldn't make a lick of difference because you are a ticket liability and you do not understand how to use the weapon in such a way that is PROFICIENT and that invalidates ANYTHING you have to say on the subject.
Jax, you should take some medication for those delusions. There is barely anything on your account that you achieve a positive ratio with.

Ok, I'm going to stop putting you two nincompoops in your place now and defer this thread back to the original poster, such that it doesn't get completely derailed with your nonsensical babblings.
I love it when these guys try to sound really articulate and use words they don't really understand...
I'm not saying I'm perfect... I'm far from it, in fact... But I don't use words I don't understand unless I have to, in which I use a dictionary to check.
Trying to sound sophisticated will quite often make you look like a real idiot... Especially when you're dissing someone else...
Keep it up, Suddy-O... It's hilarious.
They can be pretty ridiculous about this carding thing. I think sometimes they just do it for kicks (They probably chuckle about it with their buddies later when they card people who are obviously old enough.)
A kid at Target once carded my friend's Dad (57, Wrinkes, Gray Hair, the works) when he bought UT for us.

I find the 3D map useful for keeping tabs on my team's progress without using my normal map all the time (I rarely have a competent commander, so I have to make strategic decisions for my squad) and seeing where health/ammo packs are more easily. I like to turn it off during battles, though. It tends to get cluttered to the point at which I can't see who I'm shooting because he has a big American flag over him. (I tend to fight at long range, this might not be as much of a problem for you G3/DAO-12/Jackhammer types =P)
I love when they do that... They don't seem to realize I can press F1 and switch to pilot...unforgiven5150 wrote:
I just played with 2 idiots on the SGC server. Icebyrd and something Blitz. I got in the Cobra gunner seat and I get a "Get Out". So I say "No, I was here first the other person can wait their turn". I agree with this fella 100%... There's nothing more satisfying than clearing out a Hummer through the hole in the back, or killing a BH pilot through the open side door with a rocket... Works with normal guns too, though... If they're close enough.[1stSSF]=Nuka= wrote:
What's really fun is to aim at open doors and hit the ceiling, not the exterior...you should see how many folks call "hacker" when you take 'em out like that...I learned it by killing a hummer driver who went to the gun turret...killed him accidentally but kept the car completely intact...no damage...lol...talk about a bug.Icleos wrote:

If you see a laden flying bus, don't try to take it down...just take out everyone inside.
Dolphin diving is the jump/prone combo as far as I know... I don't think people who drop to the ground during a fight are a problem to anyone.
Anyone who thinks medics are useless because they don't fight should be pulled out into the street and shot. I can't stand when a medic is crouched three feet away from me firing off into the distance while I'm fading away on the ground next to him.
As a Medic, I run around with my gun out, but when reviving, I only fight if the enemy is capable of killing us both again. If he'd just kill me, I'll keep the shock paddles out, but if it's a Support lying down 20 feet away, I may as well fight.
Here's a little quiz... I wanna see what most Medics would do in these situations.
1)You and a teammate are under fire taking the Beach on Wake Island. You're behind the sandbag bunker and your teamate is prone on the beach. The enemy is behind the sandbags to the northwest. Your teammate (Assault) is killed 20 meters from you and the enemy has just finished reloading. Fight or Revive?
2) Strike at Karkand, good ol' melee at the beginning of the game. You're USMC and your teammate gets gunned down behind the pipes in the first fenced area, and there are enemies all over the place (none in the first fenced area, though) Fight and kill those you can see first or revive?
3) You're in a BH flying towards a CP, but you can see a large infantry battle going on below and the squad isn't faring too well. Parachute and revive or keep going and fight for the next point?
I'd revive in all three situations (and have). I like to think I turned the tide of the last battle. I revived three guys when the squad was down to one man (and me), and we managed to keep control of the point.

If you put 3 on a BH that ends up getting fully loaded, and then the other two on a fully loaded APC and blow it at once, I don't see why you wouldn't get more than 6 kills.
Why are people bashing going prone? Dolphin-diving is just plain stupid, but prone is one of the best (and most realistic) ways for anyone to fight. It's also one of the only ways, if you're Support.
Ever since I started keeping my head down and my feet on the ground, my K/D has seen a steady increase.
I can't stand bunny-hopping... I always kick their asses (try hopping around in front of a PKM and see how well you fare), but it eats up my ammo and accuracy rating. Sure, I can resupply myself, but it's a pain in the ass reloading all the time.
If you can't live without bunny-hopping, go play UT.
If you can't live WITH bunny-hopping, go play an RTS. The idiots are here to stay.

I've also experienced the whip-'round-the-corner-headshot, but the only time I've ever been sure some shit was going on was when a snazzy new heli appeared on the pad in Mashtuur, we had just cleared the spawn point (UAV confirmed this), I took off and was C4'd in mid-air 20 seconds later.
Sometimes a Spec Ops will C4 a chopper and blow it up a while after you get into the air for kicks, but the base was clear and the chopper had just spawned.

Nyte, I think you should spend some more time behind an LMG before you start saying what "Good" accuracy ratings are with it. I haven't played anywhere near as long as you, but I have alot more time as Support, and 20% accuracy is only FEASIBLE on CQC maps. For those of us who don't spend all day on Karkand, the average firefight is at a much greater range, and the only way Support is gonna get any hits is to send a sh*tload of bullets flying towards enemy lines.
I don't want to start a fight here, you're undoubtedly a better player than I am and would toast my ass in just about any situation, but from my experience with a LMG... I just can't agree with you.
BTW, I think the accuracy thing is #of hits (Cursor flash thing)/#of shots fired. If you kill everyone with a headshot, but always miss twice first, you've got a 33.33% accuracy.

Accuracy is not a good skill indicator. I play alot with a PKM, and you get maybe 15-17% accuracy on that fella, no matter how good you are. I can kick some ass with a G3C6, but usually at the sort of range where you just can't get high accuracy because of the gun. I can stay cool in a battle and fight semi-auto, keeping the cursor centered the whole time, but still miss quite alot due to the inaccuracies of the weapons. IMO, there is no skill indicator. Play a few rounds with a guy if you want to see how good he is.
I could've sworn I downed a helo with my PKM. Of course, it was under fire trying to cap a point, but it was pretty much all small arms. I got the kill points using a PKM... There might have been a few other PKM's shooting it, too, though. No rockets, tanks, FAV's etc.
