Nope, I was looking for an explination as to how a poor person could achieve her level of success. Affirmative action didn't do it. It just opened doors. lowing, your first post in this thread addressed something you brought up. you were looking for an argument just so you could play that same broken record.
The woman worked hard, did not let or wait for a socialist to hand her anything that belonged to someone else ( except opportunity based on race)
I may not be a cop but ive been the victim of corrupt police. I was arrested for obstruction. I fought the case in court for 10 months, still ended up paying a few hundred dollars. The sherriffs deputies that arrested me LIED on the arrest report. In court, the officer's word is trusted over all others so even though they lied on the report, it still held up in court.S3v3N wrote:
I would really like to comment on the OP but this is why i won't.
For starters. I am the ONLY regular here with ANY experience as a Law Enforcement Officer. So I see things alot differently than all of you.
I was an Active Duty Deputy Sheriff and now currently a Reserve for personal reasons that isn't any of your business.
Next I picked apart the OP's "Source" and found it biased against cops. *this sounds familiar with the whole FoxNews bullshit*
My side of the story
My name is Carlos Miller and I am a multimedia journalist who was arrested by Miami police after taking photos of them against their wishes, a clear violation of my First Amendment rights
I found that on the home page.
Next nobody here can listen to reason and could possibly understand anything about this situation as I would explain it. infact I spent the last hour trying to type out an explanation only to come to the conclusion that it'd either get skipped or not read in is entirety and honeslty it pissed me off to begin with.
So I'm not going to defend or Condone actions.

The point was maybe everyone should forget about their stupid affiliations and stop being such dicks. You clearly have no idea how things work here. So basically everyone should die. Nearly half the population is Catholic and you think its a good thing for them to "implode" nice.
As for Catholics, even if Ireland were solely catholic there would be splits and schisms and they'd start all over again.
Its human nature, especially in Ireland apparently.
I could understand why you would feel that way. Although, Im kinda ignoring that reverand wright comment. Sounds like we're still in the campaign here and I just dont see it the way you do.DBBrinson1 wrote:

care to elaborate? It doesn't surprise me that a man who has been indoctrinated by the Reverend Wright for the last 20 years wouldn't see a problem with her statement.Sonia Sotomayor wrote:

Add that to the FACT that her decisions have been reversed 60% of the time in higher courts suggest that she's either- wrong in her rulings, unfair in her sentencing, or is being a judicial activist.
I think this is the part where youre supposed to complain about how affirmative action made it possible for this puerto rican to make it. Youre going off script herelowing wrote:
I am kinda curious as to how this woman, who comes from a poverty stricken family has risen to such hieghts. Is this where you "progressives" start spouting off about "luck" or "fortune",or can she be an example as to what can happen with hard work, devotion, dedication, ambition and drive comes into play in ones life?
She is now probably considered "rich", how do you feel about stealing her money for your entitlement payouts? Did she EARN it, or was she just "lucky" like everyone else that has anything in life.
Dude, you sound EXACTLY like a jihadist.{M5}Sniper3 wrote:

22 Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansinga her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”b 32 This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.Romans 1:26-27 wrote:

7 Now for the matters you wrote about: It is good for a man not to marry.a 2 But since there is so much immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband. 3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4 The wife’s body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband’s body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife. 5 Do not deprive each other except by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. 6 I say this as a concession, not as a command. 7 I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.
8 Now to the unmarried and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I am. 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.Matthew 19:4-6 wrote:
