Okay I honestly can't stand the use of should/would/could coupled with 'of'. I've learnt to deal with homophonic they're/their/there on the Internet, but this is really pissing me off. Sorry, but I just have to take it out. Should have, would have and could have. 'Have' is your basic past auxiliary verb... 'of' is a preposition. Putting a preposition makes no sense whatsoever, and the word 'have' is only logical when expanding from the contraction suffix of '-'ve'. The word 'of' has no 'v' nor 'e' in it.
