Its been decreased for meaning they wil be more accurate. This is probably to combat the crazy accuracy of LMGs.
Bullet Deviation represents how the gun becomes less accurate after every bullet. For example Voss has 0.24 and Baur has 0.33. In comparison, Lambert "the spraying machine" has 0.16
Altho I might be completely wrong, in that case punch me in the face.

And since when was the Lambert a "spraying machine"? It's a carbine, not a light machine gun. It should be more accurate than the AR's it's a specialist wepaon developed for spec ops.

About the AR fix:
EA mentioned earlier that they are making the initial burst fire of the AR's more accurate:
meaning the first 3 - 4 shots will be more accurate for each rifle, however, the spraying of the rifle is going to be the same as before (which doesn't say much for the Krylov -> Assault sniper rifle ><)

I was also suprised at that annauncment. Meybe its not for all ARs, maybe just Baur.
And I said "spraying machine" because of its lowest deviation. Wasnt implaying anything beeing wrong with it

Well that's what I think, anyway I hope this one get rid of all the connection problems I have with the game.
Pity the new patch makes the game crash at the end of every other round, but perhaps that's EA's means of dealing with the master server disconnects. I mean, you're not going to notice them now are you?
