i just got a saitek st290 pro. can i use this with my keyboard and no mouse during gameplay? if so how do i turn off the mouse and replace it with the joystick
Just change that in Options -> Controls -> Aircraft.
Click on the pitch, yaw & all that axis shit, and turn the joystick how you want it to be.
You can keep accelerate and decelerate on W and S like I do.

you can do it with SST (saitek smart technology) prog. It should've been included with the joystick.

I tried it for counter strike... it didn't have a nice feel. Since then I set it up lefty and use it for movement and aim with the mouse. 10 buttons on the stick and 10 on my mouse is enough to ditch the keyboard
SST is not needed if used for movement, only to emulate a mouse.
