It's a higher end Epiphone, not the Gibson.

Neither of the two.. If thoase are the only options (and now we're speaking looks, not quality), I'd go with the Schechter. Although it would look much better without the drybrushed rivets (or with less of them).

I can see you're clearly not into the classic, tobacco sunburst Les Paul-thing (which is a shame in itself), but you could consider this alternative. It's called the ESP "Truckster".

Sample the music. Let me know which guitar suits it more.

Hmmm... Kinda plain.  I like busy designs.  And yes, this poll was for looks.  The post above is actually asking now for the better guitar sampled to the music I play.

Yeah... Old school guitars, not my thing.  I don't like the sunburst designs, the V's, X-plorer, any of that.  I like the new stuff coming out.

I think that the inlays on the Schecter are quite cool. Plus, the Ibanez look is too close to a PRS, imo.

I like the butterfly head on the first but the body lines on the second.
I've owned 3-4 Ibanez guitars and they are solid and reliable.

Musicians, don't forget to visit my website if you haven't.
To the left there.

id guess ibanez for that music, but with passive humbuckers on both for lower tunninga i doubt they'll be massive differences.

> Ibanez is a good solid rock guitar. My personal preference is Jackson, owning a DKMG and a DK1,along with a Charvel Model 5 and a 6. Ibanez is probably a better choice in that price range though. Tommy D.

The Ibanez! SZ series are fine guitars! I have three of those! Go for a SZ 520, the one with the hearbeat inlays! Awesome guitar, with a LesPaul style fixed neck and Duncan/Ibanez Humbuckers and tons of tone!
