Sounds like another reasonable explanation for some instances of this, revives can do some funny things (I was a scarecrow once, no kit at all and it totally freaked me out). So theres obviously some weakness in the game-code, which one day far off EA may get round to fixing.
HAHAHAHA I've seen that scarecrow thing, what exactly happens when that occurs? I've revived loads of people and I see this weird look to their player model and I'm like "Dude he looks retarded, what the hell is wrong with him?" and he's all running around lookin' funny.
When i was revived i had no gun, no hands, nothing, i was shouting out 'i got no gun' but all i got was LOLS. in the end i went and stood in the middle of the street and waited to get killed. Later learned that i should have picked up a kit. Boy, did i panic.
