I play commander once or twice during my sessions, but I did find out that I DO get points for being a supply guy or engy when I do those specific functions.   I am pretty sure those points are added in the end (win or lose), but not during the round.   I have had 40 to 60 points on the board and then got 7 repairs or X amout o resupplies added in the end.  I think to score big points as a commander you need to do the obvious with UAV and supply crates, but you need to go out and cap flags, kill and play with the rest.   (NO DO NOT FLY A JET).

Every kill you get as commander goes on your stats but you don't get global points for it.

Yes and if you teamkill someone with arty, its not negative commanding points, even in pre 1.03!

So do all points (teamwork and combat) get factored into the command score calculation, or is it just combat?

Average team score(= total team score / number of team players) - team damage/team kills

Oh and the reason why you get odd numbers sometimes is that the game calculates the average team score exactly. If the average score is 38.4(=38 in game) before the game finished it will be 76.8(=77) after you won the round.
