I'd say Masques even though we don't agree at times. He seems to be able to demonstrate his points clearly.
I also forgot to add you, Harmor, and ATG (though I probably agree on fuck all with you three your unhinged musings are grammatically correct...I kid...or do I?!)
I think CameronPoe and ATG are the two that come to mind first.
You must be 14.....I'll give you 14 1/2.LockerFish wrote:

Malloy must go
All I have to say is ATG better bring back the "Alexander the Grape: artificially flavored candy" sig.
AHA!!! +1 for making known what "ATG" means...Alexander The Grape! hehedoctastrangelove1964 wrote:

now I want to change my forum name to "KWP!" (Karl the Wonder Poodle)
I almost put lowing myself actually. He can be very well-spoken and thoughtful. But his unwillingness to appear to have "lost" or to concede any point, and his tendency to resort to bully opponents him makes me not enjoy reading him. The way that he argues and responds to people makes me want to resist considering any of his ideas or opinions.sergeriver wrote:
Lowing (although he is like a rock sometimes).
This is in sharp contrast to ATG, another person who would seem far from myself on the political spectrum, but who seems respectful toward people who disagree with him. This makes me think about his stances and ideas rather than just dismiss them. It's an admirable quality and one I struggle to replicate.
i find the eloquence of most posters varies heavily throughout the day and week, almost as if there's a difference when they spam the forums while at work and when they get on after consuming some alcoholic beverages.
Very true.kr@cker wrote:

Yay! Some posts! I go to lunch at the country club (1st time, friend is a member, aaaawesome food) and look what happens. I was about ready to have a mod delete the thread.
Masques, Shipbuilder, sergeriver, ATG, CameronPoe, Stingray, liquix, TeamZephyr, unnamednewbie, blisteringsilence, Iron_Sentinel, jonsimon, & Gunslinger.
There's probably more, but those are the people I most readily can think of....

CameronPoe imo...
but a lot of people don't know how to concede a point.. Their ignorance really makes them look like good debaters because they 'cant lose' but in reality the stuff they spew doesnt make any sense

Who do you consider to be well-spoken members of the D&ST section? In light of the fact that so many regularly post here, I decided not to make this a poll. Don’t limit yourself to those who share your views.

I've found CameronPoe to be the best debater on this forum. He sticks to his guns yet isn't afraid to concede when he loses. He also has a great way of putting forward his point of view without looking like a nincompoop
I also like JahManRed, another good debater, has some good points of view on many different things.
Masques, Iron_Sentinel and ATG also round out my top five. Although I disagree with ATG on many different issues and events he has a great way of arguing and is a credit to this forum.
The worst on this forum is Lisik, by far the most horrible debater. Generally contributes nothing to a debate except hatemongering against Muslims. Is stubborn and half his posts are completely impossible to understand.

I'm surprised I made the list of so many regulars.
Btw, I'm drunk as I post this message. Half price drinks at the local bar, wooo!
But hey, I respect most all of the posters on this forum. Fight for what you believe but try to see the other side.
Sober posting resumes tomorrow.

The opinion expressed may be enhanced or reduced by the quality of expression. A well-reasoned and written post is the only way to put your point. SMS-style text is for phones.
I like Cam's expression and reasoning, but I haven't been here long and there may be many others with the ability to argue their position without resorting to "omg ftw" type inanities.
Some topics (like the "taser" thread) bring out the, shall we say, less considered posts.

this thread also seems to have suspiciously eloquent posts compared to the others.

Yes, but he put me first.
Special kudos to those who debate in what is not even their first language. My command of the English language may be lacklustre at times given that my first language is Gaeilge. I try my best though...
