i find the eloquence of most posters varies heavily throughout the day and week, almost as if there's a difference when they spam the forums while at work and when they get on after consuming some alcoholic beverages.

Yay! Some posts!  I go to lunch at the country club (1st time, friend is a member, aaaawesome food) and look what happens.  I was about ready to have a mod delete the thread.

but a lot of people don't know how to concede a point.. Their ignorance really makes them look like good debaters because they 'cant lose' but in reality the stuff they spew doesnt make any sense

I've found CameronPoe to be the best debater on this forum. He sticks to his guns yet isn't afraid to concede when he loses. He also has a great way of putting forward his point of view without looking like a nincompoop

I also like JahManRed, another good debater, has some good points of view on many different things.

Masques, Iron_Sentinel and ATG also round out my top five. Although I disagree with ATG on many different issues and events he has a great way of arguing and is a credit to this forum.

The worst on this forum is Lisik, by far the most horrible debater. Generally contributes nothing to a debate except hatemongering against Muslims. Is stubborn and half his posts are completely impossible to understand.

The opinion expressed may be enhanced or reduced by the quality of expression. A well-reasoned and written post is the only way to put your point. SMS-style text is for phones.

I like Cam's expression and reasoning, but I haven't been here long and there may be many others with the ability to argue their position without resorting to "omg ftw" type inanities.

Some topics (like the "taser" thread) bring out the, shall we say, less considered posts.

this thread also seems to have suspiciously eloquent posts compared to the others.

I mean..........gawrsh ya'll sure is speakin purty today!!
