I saw this movie tonight and I reccomend that no one see it. It is a huge waiste of time. I would only give this movie one * just because it is a james bond movie and that's about it. The first 40 mins of the movie was good and he did a good job being bond. Then the movie just DRAGS and Drags. I thought it was never going to end. They finally did a good job on the opening scene that leads inot the movie but that's about it. If your a big bond fan I guess you can tolerate the long draggynes of the film but I couldn't. It's almost like there is two movies in one. Anyways to rate this movie I would give it a 4 out of 10. Save your money and wait untill it comes on Tv.

Here is a link where you can check some stuff out about this movie

it means it goes on for a long time, while being boring.

it seems this movie will go the way of Doom: the movie.

Out of interest what did you think of 'die another day'?
Every thing I've seen so far about Casino Royale looks to me how the series should have gone a while ago so I'd be interested to know if you were disappointed cause its so different from the brosnan films.

yes, it was different from the brosnan films. Die another day I thought was a huge dissapointment as well. It just seems they could've made casino royale a lot better. They should have brought back Sean connery. To bad he is retired.

I love bond.

No matter how shit it is, i will probably see it 3 or 4 times before it even hits DVD.
Hell, i can even put up with Roger Moore, who by about his 5th movie looked as if he had escaped from a retirement village and onto the set of the movie.

He ia actually the closest in physical appearance to what Ian Flemming originally described in the novels. But Sean Connery was preety fucking good.

And personally, he is a whole lot better in appearance than Roger Moore.

Quite frankly, Roger Moore would have to be the absolute low point in the Bond Series, and from what i have heard from this movie, it is completly different from the Moore Saga.

Sorry I have to disagree, the worst bond has to be TIMOTHY DALTON.

Sadly this is the opinion of most people. Although I liked his Bond movies. Maybe it was just because they were the first bond movies to come out at the cinema when I was old enough to go to the cinema. The bond movies before that I had just seen on Video or TV, but the Dalton movies I experienced the Hype surrounding them, which I think maybe made me like them.

But by far the best are the Connery movies. Two of the best ever bond moments happened with the connery movies. In Dr No, when Connery is sitting at the poker table, the music kicks in and he says "The names Bond, James Bond"
Then in Diamonds are Forever, he escapes from the undergorund Pipe and says "I'm sorry, I was just out walking my rat and seem to have lost my way."

Totally agree the best ones were with schhhhhhaun connory, I'm old enough to have caught some earlier ones, I just didn't like Tim Dalton as bond, but then it was the wild and craaaaaaaazy 80s. Anyone remember the haircuts?

Thought i was the only one if the world to like the Timothy Dalton bonds.  Might even be for the same reason, I'd seen bits of the earlier bonds on tv at Christmas but I saw 'the living daylights' at the cinema and it was the first bond i saw from start to finish.

Wrong!!!  it's is George lazenby!  compare 'on her majesties secret service' to 'the living daylights' there's no comparison.

personally, i think George could have been better than Roger Moore, but in the one movie hes in hes a total pansy, so ya, hes the worst.

Edit: Casino Royale comes out tomorrow here, where do you live where it comes out early?
