Help!!! chipmunk voices out side of game...!!!!???

ok....all my music, videos and all other audio are having chipmunk voices that was caused after i installed bf2142....

any fixes or anything???

if any let me know....ugh....cuase its really pissing me off

if there isnt a fix...ea needs to get their shit together

yeah, that bar is to block whispers. it has nothing to do with what you hear.

btw, a whisper is backround noise. it basically means that the mic only picks up things that make the pretty colors rise above the line you set.

you're either full of shit or you have a virus. its coincidental that it happened around 2142 install

Go into your program files and find the folder that 2142 was installed into. I'm at work so I can't look at it right now, but look for a program in there its the BF voice over net program. You'll find it, it stands out. Open it and you can adjust those settings. I dont think that was the problem but hope it works for you

ummm...ya... i dont think its a virus, but to be exact it sounds just like when ppl talk onthe pac team, who their voices are higher than normal, like there is a filter or something...and right after i installed bf2142 that is exactly wen the problem started. i went into the vocie command thing in bf2142 program files and adjusted it, its a little better, but not even close to being normal

If you have a Creative Sound Blaster Series,

Go and check whether your EAX setting is set at right configuration.
It might have been switched to simulate chipmunk voices.
