The torture and slaughter of Iraqi civilians is reaching unprecedented heights with estimates of up to 655,000 dead.

Night after night death squads rampage through Iraq's main cities. In Baghdad, up to a hundred bodies a day are dumped on the streets. Often they've been tortured with electric drills. Yet those doing the killing have little to do with al Qaeda or Sunni insurgents. The majority of the killings are carried out by Shia death squads who want to turn Iraq into a Shia state aligned to Iran.

There are links between the death squads and high-ranking Shia politicians. The Shia militia that these politicians control have systematically infiltrated and taken over police units like the Baghdad Commando squad whom every member was a member of the Mardi Army who were recruited in one mass group by New Iraqi ministers to do their will. These politicians are aligned with hard liners like Muctada al-Sadr. Even entire government ministries have been infiltrated. These special police units are closely linked to the death squads, indeed they often are the death squads. And the killers act with impunity. There's little investigation into their activities as internal affairs and the serious crime units are too scared themselves to investigate these police units.
Special American advisers to the police and various government departments have been warning the Iraqi and American administrations that the present government has been infiltrated at every level by Shia extremists intent on ethnically cleansing Iraqi on the Coalition withdrawal.

So why night after night is the media flashing death tolls followed swiftly with reports of Sunni insurgents and al Qaeda being involved when the majority of the murders are by Shia's. They drop the bodies of at the same places at the the same time nearly every day. It was quite easy for an Iraqi journalist to film the police dropping off bodies. The special American adviser admitted he knew of the regular body dumps but was powerless to do anything.

Is the new Shia majority government ready to become a partner in the War On Terror? Or are they terrorist themselves?

Should the coalition pull out as planned leaving a western friendly tyrannical government in power? Or should the police, government and army be disbanded and started again?

Maybe its time to call in the UN? Would any member nation place any of their solders in the firing line anyway?

Whats the way forward? Discus.

This won't end until Coalition Forces fall back and the country can split into 3 countries.  Then, you'll have some peace.

"Gunmen in military-style uniforms have kidnapped more than 100 men from a research institute belonging to Iraq's higher education ministry."
"Correspondents say many Iraqis believe mass kidnappings like this latest incident are committed by members of the Shia Muslim-dominated security forces or take place with their collusion."

As my original post stated, the new democratically elected government of Iraqi has been infiltrated by extremists intent on cleansing the country. Today over 100 government staff have been kidnapped which in Iraqi means almost certain death. It seams the Shia militia is not only prepared to cleanse the civilian population and police force, but now government departments. How does this fit with the 'New solution to Iraqi' which is being discussed ATM. Iran and other neighboring countries are being asked to play a role in the 'new solution', will this play into the hands of the militia and the death squads who want to align themselves with Shia Muslim Iran?

Fraid not. Turkey would invade from the North to prevent a Kurdish state from forming. Iran would come in to kill every Sunni there.

This sounds harsh, but we need to start executing by firing squad people engaged in the death squads, we disbanded one complete Iraqi brigade because they were doing that, what did they do, go home and play nice?
Line them up and shoot them.

Power is all these people respect, and we came across as weak when we let them form a Shiite government.

The one thing I love is listening to "why should we care about Iraq" people talking about what's going on in Iraq.

it makes it easier to find out who the death squads are.  once they kill the entire peaceful population, we will move in to crush the insurgents since they are the only ones left.  Thats been our original plan from the begining.

Its so easy, its crazy!
