On my way to Circuit City today, I saw one of the most ridiculous political ads on the side of the road. It read: 'Want Change? Vote Democrat.'

Strange, considering the party's already-existing stranglehold on my state.

I just don't get why there aren't "conflict of interest" types of laws for representatives to follow. I mean, there's an "ethics committee" with oversight over such things..surely they have such a law. Moreso, I don't understand why representatives wouldn't want to stick to decisions deriving from their constituents ONLY...how else would you get reelected?

Politicians obviously have a much more complicated skill set than I can imagine. It'd be nice if there were term limits on representatives..say 3 terms max maybe.... AND NO ENTITLEMENTS!
