I am curious, Infantry Only Servers are illegal? I was out of BF2 for a few months from March and came back in September. Noticed IO servers with no arti and vehicles.

No. EA released and sponsers them. They however don't go along with Knife/Pistol/medic servers or "High Points" servers. Whatever the hell "High Points" means.

Au contraire. IO was the best thing that could happen to BF2. I have played 90% IO after the last patch and I love it! Yesterday I played on a "regular" Sharqi server and it reminded me why I love IO so much; we got ass raped by the chopper.

Has anyone ever clicked the "Play bf2 online now" button ? surely that link can see the time spent in there..

TBH i have clicked play now and joined all kinds of servers.. But you dont check out what it says when its loading as you are off making a drink or something.. Come back and join.. Could have been as simple as that perhaps..

I know the guy and this isnt his thing.. why join a P&K server when all experts in the classes had already been met.. its not as if the K;D ratio is going to fly up ?

We will wait and see what happens.. Sounds a bit fishy to me that the people who are in these servers are still stat free and the people hosting them continue to host them.
