Well,

I just got done playing on a server and I was in a battlewalker...is it me or are they just too overpowered?
(They didn't have a commander and my commander spoiled me with supplies)

With a good squad and teamwork they are easy to take down, or you just snipe them from out of range in a tank. Up close they are quite devastating, but like anything else they have their weaknesses, in this case, range.

maybe you were on Camp gibraltar or Tunis where there are only 2 walkers in the map and no armour. On them no one wants to be an engineer
People just hide and let you go by and than they go back to nade spamming or shuko spraying.

Read my article on how to take down walkers (below link). There are a lot of ways to kill them. Despite this, they are still what I call the flagship of any enemy army: extremely dangerous, and also extremely vulnerable depending on how you approach them. They're like wraith's; once you see one, you become one (aka, dead) if you're infantry and alone. But with a determined squad, these walkers fall like dominoes.

Good pilot+mechanic in 2nd seat=Next to unstoppable
Amature pilot=Target

Honestly, they're not overpowered at all. Another thing is that if they face a tank at long range, they're screwed.

Distance is your friend against a walker. Although my friend __Teh Pwnererer has started missile sniping with the damn walkers. I don't know how he does it, but he hits a good percentage of the time, even at long-range...and with me in the anti-air (we played Minsk earlier tonight, Titan mode) we racked up a good number of kills before some hotshot transport kamikazied into us; had that not happened, we would have owned the whole ground war. Point proof that two good pilots + engineer can hold off anything with a walker...and still not be over-powered...god damn suicidal noobs.
