Bring back the anti-tank kits stinger from desert combat, was awesome taking out apachies and hinds with it
Battlefield Vietnam had AA kits for the NVA side. You were pretty much worthelss for fighting anything else, but if you were getting base raped, it was the only way to go. Of course, the AA missiles actually hit their targets half the time in that game...
Actually I have taken out tanks with 6 stinger missiles at around 50 metres away (or approximately that distance according to my estimation of the tank proximity to the flag). You just have to kind of swivel a bit to the right and then left for both stinger missiles to hit.lunyollie wrote:

I have also taken out a tank using the 4 missiles of a mobile AA vehicle, three times this happened in my BF2 playing time.
The benefits of being an engineer and repairing in the second position of the mobile AA and getting repair points at the same time between skirmishes!
Helicopters are fine. In some maps, I can't fly anywhere near the battlefield without three people getting a lock on me. If you're pressed, used fixed or vehicle-mounted MG's. You'd be suprised how fast you can hurt a chopper that way. Fixed AT sometimes takes out a chopper in a single blow. Remember: you can fire AA at a chopper without having a lock and still hit. The rockets in AT kits (except one in Special Forces) can be guided in flight. A good M95 sniper can take out any helicopter foolish enough to travel at less than full speed. Planes can take out choppers in a single strafing with their MG's.
