Is anyone having problems getting the singleplayer to launch after the installation of BF2:SF pack and patch v1.12? Everytime I try this, I am kicked back to my desktop or my machine freezes up and will not respond to any keystrokes. A reboot is the only thing that will bring the machine up again.

I have not done an uninstall/reinstall to see if this will fix the problem, but I am thinking about it.

Any help or insight is appreciated!!!!!

perhaps is a graphics driver problem, i dont know, worth checking though.

you should reinstall and such. If that doesn't work, recover pc is your only bet.

As of last night the problem was solved by a full uninstall - HD defrag - full reinstall. Just to make sure it was working correctly through out the process, singleplayer games were played after the initial install and patches. I will probably give it the full test this evening.
