if u guys say its all about TEAMWORK..

Does that mean all |TOP| players are GREAT players???
Yes, yes we are.

If you have a positive K/D at the end of a round then you have helped your team
If you suppressed (yes you may read baseraped) the enemy vehicles then you have helped your team
If you run around capping flags like a madman you have helped your team
If you revive every dead fucker you see then you have helped your team
If you take the longest possible root to get past enemy lines and cap that flag on the other side of the map you have helped your team
If you stick with your squad and move as a decent unit you have helped your team
if you destroy that J-10/MI-28/etc that is raping a spawn you have helped your team

Good players help their team, great players do it every round.

Those and the others mentioned are good indicators. I would add Leadership and he doesn't need to be the best at anything but able to do everying well. Can grab any kit or vehicle/aircraft and run with it, plays all four levels of BF2 comfortably and shares what he knows to help others be better players.

1. A good computer makes a good player.
2. Thinking in terms of your teammates, rather than yourself.
3. Are you a Medic? Drop medkits.
4. Are you Support? Drop ammo refills.
5. Are you an Engineer? Make repairs.

My definition of a great player is simple.

someone who flys the attack chopper and actually gives ME the chance to shoot TV, and not try to rocket pod everything himself. I have ONE memory of a pub where the following things did not happen

1) I was tk'd from the chopper
2) Pilot crashed on take off
3) Pilot did not use VOIP
4) Pilot had hand-eye coordination less than your average 8 year old.

I swear to god in my 14 hours something in choppers i have only ever had one pilot who let me take the shots.
Looks like you need to fly with me I'm retarded with rockets but if your decent with the tv I will line you up everytime.

What makes a good player? Simple: a person having fun and not worried about anything else. Enjoy the game, not the stats.

Someone who overthrows the momentum of the other team.

A sniper can defend any flag as long as no vehicle comes to cap it... try doing that while being a medic

Great player has plenty teamwork, remembers that there are actually flags on these "maps" and someone that can pull their own weight when engaging battle.  (usually knock down 1 or 2 of a squad).
