Ok, now at first I thought what happened to me was a guy hacking with some super nade hack, but upon checking the guys score on BF2S I realized that he's a terrible player (didn't even have a 1:1 ratio on anything - including armor) so I figured I'd just been hit by some retarded glitch or whatnot.
The other night I was playing, you guessed it, Karkand. I was on USMC and we'd just capped the Hotel flag. Now, if you're pretty good at Karkand and spend a lot of time playing there, you know you can get on top of the building that is right next to the Hotel (it's the one to the left of the alley that leads to Square) by running from the top of one building and jumping.
So here I was the other night, putzing around with my G36E when I see a guy get on the mounted machine gun at the Square spawn. Easy shot I figured. He gets off the LMG and I see him pull a nade. *pop* I give him a bullet right through the cranium. A nade from there? You kidding me?
Then bang. I was blown up by his nade. I knew it was from the guy I killed because I'd only killed one person from that spot, and his killing me showed up right after.
Teh Seraphim killed *******.
******* killed Teh Seraphim.
How odd I thought - that doesn't seem like a normal - or even physically possible - nade. Like I said at first I thought the kid was hacking, but since I was on a building that you're technically not sposed to be on I figured it was some sort of glitch or something. Any thoughts anyone?
