Have you actually ever ran out of those? To me, that has never happened. I was just playing with raxor and just started thinking and there hasnt been a single time when the flares didnt come out when i pressed X. No matter how many times a plane tries to kill me i can always drop flares atleast like 20 times.

Do flares recharge when you get ammo/repair?

Please someone enlighten me.

I believe that you don't have any restriction on flares, though I never thought about it.
They take time to recharge but I think you have infinite of them.

I believe flares are available as soon as they reload an unlimited amount of times.

There would have to be a counter for remaining flares in the HUD, which there isnt.

along the same lines... stuff you wondered about the chopper but were too embarrased to ask.

Has anyone seem how high they can actually go in a helicopter? I seem to remember I took a friend up to around 300m to see how many barrel rolls I could manage - think it was about 9 rolls. was laughing too much at how he was complaining about feeling motion sick and lost count.

There's been times I as on the run from someone and hit x and nothing happened, and it's been after I used flares a lot. And I think it was long enough that they weren't reloading. Because I'd be flying around for a bit trying to drop a flare whenever I got locked on to and nothing.

Choppers have too much flares, too fast. I don't even lock on to choppers, just flick the missile to check if its a friendly one. At the merest beep of the red X, it releases flares. I proceed to gun off half his life and return to finish him off while typing 'Wtf' on say all.

you should aim your AA above the chopper, so the flare effect wears off faster
