BF2S Forums Scariest game?

i'd have to say doom 3. in the dark, big monitor, 5.1's. yeah it got a bit samey after awhile, but they did fricking good. bits of sceneory falling off etc. noises and baddies popping up outta nowhere. good times (and ruined pants)

F.E.A.R wasn't really a scary game for me, i mean admittedly the few times the girl popped up thro smoke or around corners got me good, but most of the game was just combat against soldiers. altho as mentioned the last bit with the ghost type people was pretty good. the demo scared me more, with the invisble guys with the red eyes, all u see is their shadow. v.good.

condemned is also an excellent game, if u've got a good rig, crank it up and give it a blast. really good game, not scary tho.

Well in the past I never was really into playing scary games but when I bought Half Life 2 with no prior knowledge of the premise of such a game I was scared as hell in Ravenholm. The freakin headcrabs and things are jumping at you as the zombies throw 'em and attack you. I was sitting in the dark corner of a room with the lights off screaming as I SMG-sprayed my way through that level. It's not genuine, scared fear though; it was more of a "Holy shiite! WTF is that?!?!"

FEAR for sure, played it all last week and loved the story line. it was the scariest game i've played but i managed it (surrounded by my friends)
