BF2S Forums What will the newly elected Democrats investigate first?

Rumsfeld apparently, considering the insta-resign.

John Conyers is now the head of the judiciary committee and he's been the only one pursuing impeachment.  I still get his emails.  So I'm guessing he'll procede and get an independent counsel (Ken Starr, where are you?) and have at it.  It's not like there's a shortage of impeachable criteria to prosecute.  I think impeachment is useless but I would pay money to see Bush be told he has to testify under oath..then watch him lie..then watch him go to jail!

The first thing that will be investigated will be oversight on the war.  The way the president illegally began the current warfare was by manipulating the war powers act.  He and his cabinet (good thing rummy got out now!)(including ashcroft, powell, etc) will all be subpoena'd and deposed by Pelosi and other oversight committee members...and it will be ugly.  It will be thorough, and the whole MSM will be consumed with it, EVERY talk show will talk about it, every talking head will spin it, and at least a dozen books will come out with titles like "The end of the bush empire..."

And they'll do all this while neglecting their congressional duties! lol
